Decade of experience in the Backend Engineering , Product Development, Big Data Engineering, DevOps, and Data Science domains, Chanchal is a visionary leader and a dynamic strategist who drives digital transformation and innovation using cutting-edge technologies. He is currently the Head of Engineering - Data and Machine Learning at Tide, a leading fintech company that provides banking and financial services to small and medium businesses. At Tide, he lead multiple cross-country teams of over 100 members, responsible for delivering high-quality microservices applications, data engineering, data science, and AI/ML solutions. He also define and execute the quarterly and yearly roadmap for products, create and review the design documents, and manage the budget, resources, and vendors. Additionally, He is the founder and director of DataQua9t, a board member of MathsInDepth, and the author of a book on Apache Kafka. He is passionate about creating a smarter workforce, a sustainable organization, and a positive impact in the world through data and AI.
