Elnaz Moshfeghian

Currently leading product, design, and engineering at Dashy Dash, an early stage restaurant SaaS startup. We help restaurants by digging through their messy invoice data to extract insights about their food and supply costs. Our customers can see what other restaurants in their area are paying for the same items, quickly detect and adapt to changing prices, and ensure their suppliers are honoring contracted prices. Before this, I joined Alto as the third software engineer and helped it grow to a $B business. Along the way I transitioned from IC to manager, led multiple teams, charters and engineering managers, and worked closely with cross-functional partners to set product strategy. In my final year, I rotated into a VP of Strategy & Operations role, where I served as technical advisor to the CEO, lead strategic planning cycles, and the operating mechanisms that ensured top company priorities stayed on track. As a mentor I specialize in: managing up, influencing cross-functional partners, making the leap from IC to manager, maximizing your impact, and supporting underrepresented folks in tech. In my free time, I enjoy camping, backpacking, cooking feasts for friends, and cycling around San Francisco.
