Hannah Olukoye

I'm Hannah Olukoye, an Engineering Manager and Google Developer Expert - Android. I'm currently working at Taxfix, where I have been leading a team of software engineers from 3 to 6. I focus on creating a culture of continuous learning and fostering collaboration by assigning initiative leads in the team for each project. I'm also proud of having implemented an informal mentorship system that pairs junior engineers with more experienced team members. Additionally, I have successfully adopted agile methodologies like Scrum and efficient project management tools like Jira and Miro to increase project efficiency and on-time delivery by 30%. In my past roles, I have been a Technical Speaker, advocating for youth in tech-related fields. I was also a Program Manager at Google, where I managed a program focused on bridging the gap between academia and industry. I was also an Associate Software Engineer, helping to develop an innovative platform and powering a cloud-based analytics system. In my spare time, I'm an avid reader and passionate about giving back. I volunteer with the Plato Fellowship, a non-profit organization that focuses on connecting and mentoring young professionals to help them reach their full potential.
