I am Sarah Diaz, a Senior Engineering Manager at HashiCorp. I originally moved into a leadership role because others were able to see something in me I didn't quite understand for myself. I've grown as a leader because of support and guidance from other leaders. In addition to my current role as a Senior Manager, I've also held Director and Sr. Director roles, adjusting for various life events to retain work/life harmony. These changes have provided me various experiences and perspective for supporting others in their career journey. I am passionate about mentorship, and have been privileged to mentor and coach many engineers and leaders throughout my career. My goal is to help create a more diverse and inclusive engineering culture.
