I am Sargun Kaur, the founder and CEO of Byteboard. I am extremely passionate about building a more equitable technical workforce, and was propelled to build Byteboard after personally seeing how much of a barrier poorly formed interviewed processes had on underrepresented individuals. I am extremely proud of the impact Byteboard has had thus far in pushing the industry towards more real-world interviews, and the impact it has to the candidates and teams of Webflow, Figma, and many other leading engineering organizations. Prior to Byteboard I was a software engineer on the Google Photos team, focusing on improving the Photos app experience for users in lower-connectivity areas around the world. When I’m not working, I enjoy hosting dinner parties and improving my painting skills.
