Vivek Sivaraman

I am a seasoned software development manager with 17 years of IT experience, 13 of which have been dedicated to the e-commerce industry. Currently, I am leading a team at Amazon, where I manage the end-to-end technology stack for a $100 million+ business that covers the publisher, purchase, post-purchase, and reading experience of customers. My core competencies include processes development, operations management, and e-commerce, and I am constantly striving to deliver innovative and customer-centric solutions. In my current role, I am responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the software systems and applications that power the Amazon Newsstand platform. I work closely with a diverse group of stakeholders across the organization, including software developers, support engineers, engineering and support managers, to ensure the success of our projects. My expertise lies in AWS, Agile, and Scrum methodologies, and I am always seeking opportunities to learn and grow in my role. Outside of my professional life, I have a passion for Plato and mentorship, and I am always looking for ways to apply these principles in my work and personal life.
