Yannick Hoffsess

I am Yannick, a senior engineering manager at BlaBlaCar, one of the main european unicorn, which mission is to target "zero empty seat". I lead two squads of engineers to develop innovative features and improve the user experience for our carpooling platform. I am responsible for guiding the team's technical decisions, ensuring timely delivery of projects, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. One of my favorite axis of work is to maintain a nice balance between performance and well-being at work. Previously, I worked as a CTO at Decitre interactive, INTERACTIVE, where I oversaw the informatics operations for a bookshop network and led the development of their website and ERP system. I also have worked 9 years at Amadeus, where I held various roles, including Senior Manager of Front Office Design, Solution, Quality, and Release Management. I am passionate about using technology to improve everyday processes and am always seeking opportunities to mentor and guide others in their professional growth.
