Hello, I'm Yannick Hoffsess, an Engineering Manager at BlaBlaCar France. In my current role, I lead a squad of engineers to develop innovative features and improve the user experience for our carpooling platform. I am responsible for guiding the team's technical decisions, ensuring timely delivery of projects, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Previously, I worked as a CTO at DECITRE INTERACTIVE, where I oversaw the informatics operations for a bookshop network and led the development of their website and ERP system. I also have 9 years of experience at Amadeus, where I held various roles, including Senior Manager of Front Office Design, Solution, Quality, and Release Management. I am passionate about using technology to improve everyday processes and am always seeking opportunities to mentor and guide others in their professional growth. In my free time, I practice acupuncture and i love playing padel. I also love exploring zero-waste technics which aligns perfectly with my passion for creating a global community through carpooling.
