With 15+ years experience in engineering leadership and management, I bring a diverse range of skills and experiences to my role as a mentor. I've led high-performing, global teams at companies like Pinger and Automattic. At Pinger, I built the quality and engineering productivity department from the ground up, scaling from 1 to a global team of 30+. While at Automattic, I redefined the quality engineering function, moving from a siloed team focused exclusively on automation to a team working in partnership with development and support teams on quality coaching and advocacy, on-demand feature testing, education on test automation, and supporting the automation framework and CI/CD. I also defined best practices and processes for bugs from reporting to escalation and resolution. Additionally, I served as an Employee Resource Group lead, where I created a company-wide women-to-women mentorship program.
