Harleen Serai

I am passionate about making our organizations diverse and work for all the people inside them. I actively try to 'connect the dots' through reading, writing and listening. I invest time in improving myself and my teams through retrospection and small iterative changes. "To lead effectively — really, to live effectively — you must be confident in yourself, connected to others, committed to purpose, and emotionally courageous." (Peter Bregman) This resonated with me when first read this quote, and captures my leadership style. I come from a modest (and perhaps privileged) upbringing in Punjab and Brisbane Australia. I was raised by a single mother who taught me to embrace change. I have 2 daughter who push me in my mission to imagine an innovative and inclusive workplace of the future.
