I am Patrick, a Security Engineering Manager and Technical Lead Manager in Cloud Product Security at Google. I lead three teams of highly skilled security engineers and software engineers to secure cloud applications and workloads. My team covers Cloud Hardening, Cloud Remediation, OS security, Supply Chain Security, Vulnerability research, Threat modeling, Architecture review, and more. My key achievements include hiring and mentoring a team of 10+ engineers, developing a team culture, and defining the strategy and roadmap for cloud hardening. In addition, I have had the privilege of collaborating with and influencing other engineering teams and senior leaders. In my spare time, I enjoy mentoring younger engineers through Plato, a platform for mentoring in tech.
