In my past life, I was a Director of Engineering at Box. Joined them very early and saw torrid growth in the Engineering org over 6 years, through IPO. For past 5 years, I've been coaching engineers to do better at Technical Interviews. I believe that interviews is where rubber meets the road and there needs to be a lot more open dialog than what happens today, re all kinds of biases during that time. It'd be great to get together and talk about it, share and learn from each others' experiences!
